The police named Mohammad Leon Rahman (Leon Dozan) as a suspect in the alleged persecution of his girlfriend, Rinoa Najwa Aurora Nindha Senduk.
Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Kombes Pol Susatyo Purnomo Condro said that the suspect’s determination took effect on Friday, November 17, 2023.
“Against the suspect, we apply Article 351 of the Criminal Code or persecution and as of today we have named the suspect and detained the suspect,” Susatyo told reporters, on Friday, November 17, 2023.
Susatyo added, in addition to being named a suspect in the case, his party also issued a report on his remarks in a viral video insulting the Police institution.
“Maybe all the media have seen on TV, and heard on social media, how these words were conveyed loudly and clearly against the Police institution. So we applied Article 207 of the Criminal Code against the suspect for institutional insults,” he explained.
After going viral on social media abusing his girlfriend and challenging the police, Mochammad Leon Rahman Dozan alias Leon Dozan was finally secured by the police.
Leon Dozan himself was arrested at his residence on Thursday, November 16, 2023, at 22.00 WIB in the Cirendeu Lebak Bulus area, South Jakarta.
