Bank DKI and Perumda Pasar Jaya have signed a cooperation on Merchant Payment Management through Bank DKI’s Mobile Point of Sale (MPOS). This is done in order to realize digitalization in markets in Jakarta.
The signing of this cooperation was carried out by the Director of Technology & Operations concurrently Acting President Director of Bank DKI, Amirul Wicaksono, and President Director of Perumda Pasar Jaya, Agus Himawan in the Jakarta Forum Synergy event facilitated by Jawa Pos media in Jakarta on Tuesday, November 14, 2023.
Through this collaboration, it is hoped that traders and market visitors can make non-cash transactions easily and safely. In addition, traders will find it easier to record daily transactions.
Bank DKI Corporate Secretary, Arie Rinaldi said Bank DKI continues to be committed to providing ease of banking service transactions through the market digitalization program, which is also carried out by cooperating with Perumda Pasar Jaya.
“Until now, Bank DKI has digitized markets in Pasar Santa, Pasar Rumput, Pasar Kedoya, Pasar Koja, Perumnas Klender, Kebayoran Lama Market, and Ciracas Market and will continue to be expanded in line with Bank DKI’s vision to support Jakarta’s growth through the development of MSMEs, ease of transactions and realizing a non-cash transaction system,” Arie said in a written statement.
The DKI Jakarta Forum Synergy activity itself has the theme “Maximize the Role of Markets as the Heart of the Regional Economy” and also collaborates with Pasar Jaya. The forum was also a discussion event for all stakeholders because it was attended by a number of DKI Jakarta Provincial Government officials and around 300 business actors consisting of market heads and traders from 153 markets in Jakarta.
Director of Technology & Operations concurrently Acting President Director of Bank DKI, Amirul Wicaksono who was also a speaker in the seminar themed “The Role and Important Function of QRIS and Digital Banking for Market Business Actors”.
In addition, the Head of BP BUMD DKI Jakarta, Nasruddin Djoko Surjono, and President Director of Perumda Pasar Jaya, Agus Himawan, and the Board of Directors of Perumda Pasar Jaya were also present.
Amirul said that digitalization is one aspect that cannot be avoided, especially in daily transaction needs, including in the market environment.
“People, especially traders and market visitors, are now increasingly facilitated by digital banking services. In this case, Bank DKI has presented a non-cash payment ecosystem through the JakOne Abank application, JakOne Merchant, payment implementation through QRIS, to digitizing payments at other facilities in the market environment as a form of support for market traders / MSME players,” Amirul concluded.
