Indonesia’s automotive industry grew 9.66 percent in the second quarter of this year, compared to the same period of last year, thanks to the sales of electric vehicles (EV), the country’s Industry Minister Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita said in a statement Wednesday.
According to data from the Association of Indonesia Automotive Industries, the EV sales in the Southeast Asia’s largest economy has recorded an increasing trend throughout January to May 2023.
