The Beginning of Chinese Foreigners Drowning in Bali
Xiao Fong Jhony alias Zhong Ni (34) came to Bali with his wife, Karina Coser or Karina Melnychuk, a famous Chinese cosplayer. Quoted from detikBali, they are staying temporarily in a villa in the Kerobokan Kelod area, Badung.
The two of them enjoyed a meal together at a restaurant. After that, they continued swimming at the beach.
According to information from the police, they allegedly did not know they had entered a prohibited swimming area marked with a red flag. The big waves rolled and dragged Zhong Ni and Karina to the middle.
Karina was rescued by the local Balawista team, but her husband was lost in the current. The woman was then rushed to a nearby clinic for treatment.
“The victims were bathing in the red flag. They were slammed by the waves and drowned in the current of the sea. Meanwhile, the others managed to escape to the beach,” said Head of Public Relations for the Badung Police, Iptu I Ketut Sudana, Tuesday (7/11/2023).
Zhong Ni Found Dead Floating
A foreign national (WNA) from China, Xiao Fong Jhony alias Zhong Ni (34) was found dead during a SAR operation carried out by the Bali Basarnas joint team, Wednesday (8/11/2023). The man’s body was found floating on Petitenget Beach, Badung.
Xiao Fong Jhony (XFJ) was previously declared missing as a result of being swept away by waves at Batubelig Beach, Kerobokan Kelod Village, North Kuta District, on Tuesday (7/11/2023). Currently, XFJ’s body has been taken to the Prof Ngoerah Central General Hospital (RSUP) Denpasar.
“Today, at 08.50 WITA, we found the target or victim still floating in the middle of the sea in front of Petitenget Beach. A distance of approximately 100 meters from the shore,” said Head of the Operations and Alert Section of the Denpasar SAR Office, I Wayan Suwena, in a press release, Wednesday. (8/11/2023).
Zhong Ni Died on Her Birthday
Xiao Fong Jhony alias Zhong Ni died after being lost in the waves at Batubelig Beach, North Kuta, Bali, Tuesday (7/11/2023). Condolences flooded the comments column on Zhong Ni’s last upload on her social media account.
The Chinese foreigner who drowned in Bali died on his birthday. Zong Ni was swept away by the current while swimming with his wife, a famous cosplayer from China named Karina Coser or Karina Melnychuk.
