PLN Icon Plus, Subholding Beyond kWh from PLN, focuses on green solutions, including realizing the electric vehicle (EV) ecosystem and the use of new and renewable energy in Indonesia.
PLN Icon Plus supports the government program through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Kemenlu) in encouraging South Korean green investment in Indonesia.
This was conveyed by the President Director of PLN Icon Plus, Ari Rahmat Indra Cahyadi, in Seoul, South Korea, during the parallel session of One-on-One Business Meeting: Building Stronger Indonesia-Korea Economic Partnerships in Energy and Downstream Manufacturing Industries organized by the Indonesian Embassy in Seoul (8/11), led by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Pahala N. Mansury.
The One-on-One Business Meeting presented 5 South Korean companies to offer Indonesia potential investment projects in the energy sector and downstream manufacturing industries, especially for the development of the electric vehicles (EVs) industry.
“PLN Icon Plus collaborates with companies from South Korea in developing the electric vehicle ecosystem in Indonesia. We fully support the Ministry of Foreign Affairs program to encourage green investment by South Korean companies in Indonesia,” Ari Rahmat said.
According to Ari Rahmat, green investment is one of the important aspects in driving the transition to a sustainable economy. Through this investment, Indonesia can reduce negative impacts on the environment and support sustainable economic growth.
“For this reason, PLN Icon Plus is committed to supporting the Ministry of Foreign Affairs program and taking an active role in encouraging green investment from South Korea in Indonesia,” Ari added.
PLN Icon Plus and PLN are developing an Electric Vehicle Ecosystem through Business Solutions by maximizing Super Apps, PLN Mobile. PLN Icon Plus proactively opens a partnership business model for the provision of electric vehicles as a step to accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles in the community.
PLN Icon Plus also creates innovative products to improve the Electric Vehicle (EV) customer experience from start to finish. PLN Icon Plus is open to collaborating with all companies from various countries and with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, can accelerate the development of the EV ecosystem in Indonesia.
