PLN Icon Plus Supports Digital Economy Transformation, Invites Yogyakarta’s Youth Organization to Collaborate

Indonesia has become one of the countries that is experiencing significant growth in the digital economy, including in the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY) Province.

The increase is driven by the widespread adoption of information and communication technology, as well as the emergence of various digital platforms.

Speaking as one of the panelists at the Social Innovation Week Discussion with the topic: The Role of Corporations in Encouraging the Social Innovation Ecosystem, Ari Rahmat said that PLN Icon Plus has a strong commitment to support the development and progress of the digital economy in Indonesia.

According to him, PLN Icon Plus offers a number of digital platforms and connectivity technology solutions. PLN Icon Plus provides ICONNET Broadband Internet services to support internet needs that can help Karang Taruna and MSMEs in optimizing their operations in the digital era.

“Through collaboration with Karang Taruna Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta, we hope to make a significant contribution to the transformation of the digital economy. With the synergy between the energy sector and the digital economy, it is hoped that MSMEs in the Special Region of Yogyakarta will be able to face challenges and take advantage of opportunities in the digital industry,” concluded Ari.

Ari Rahmat attended the Social Innovation Week organized by Karang Taruna DIY at Jogja City Mall, Sleman Regency. This event was also to commemorate the 63rd anniversary of Karang TarunaDIY.

The Chairperson of Karang Taruna DIY, Gusti Kanjeng Ratu (GKR) Hayu said that Social Innovation Week is a forum for Youth Organizations to introduce their innovations to answer various social problems in the region.

“Youth organizations are given the opportunity to meet and collaborate with professionals, government agencies, educational institutions, and companies,” she said.
