The presentation by Danramil Captain Arm Asnawi at the Babinsa Army Go To School activity which was held at SD 04 Cipinang Melayu, in order to provide national insight and knowledge about the dangers of bullying on the mental health of students.
Bullying is a desire to hurt that is manifested in an action that causes someone to suffer. This action is carried out directly by a stronger person or group, is not responsible, is usually repeated and is carried out in a state of joy.
Signs that a child is a victim
bullying is experiencing difficulties in socializing, feeling afraid to come to school, missing out on lessons, having difficulty concentrating in lessons, mental and physical health will have an impact both short and long term.
Over a long period of time, children who are victims of bullying will show symptoms or behavior such as being full of fear due to trauma and becoming embarrassed or lacking self-confidence. Lack of self-confidence in children will result in children having less respect for themselves which will affect the child’s ability to overcome problems or challenges in their life.
