“We already have a TRC of 267 personnel,” Jakarta Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) Executive Head Isnawa Adji told reporters on Tuesday, November 7, 2023.
Isnawa said, 267 disaster management officers or TRC in each urban village to speed up coordination.
The duties of TRC personnel continued Isnawa Adji, including handling disasters, educating, following the evacuation process, and post-disaster handling. The officers will be on standby for 24 hours.
“They have a 24-hour picket,” he said.
For flood handling, Isnawa continued, BPBD DKI cooperates with the Water Resources Agency, Fire and Rescue Department (Gulkarmat), Satpol PP, and other related personnel.

Previously, the Jakarta Water Resources Agency (SDA) also made various efforts to anticipate the impact of the rainy season.
Acting Secretary of Jakarta Water Resources Agency, Hendri, said five efforts have been and will continue to be carried out by the agency.
